Q. I can't afford Zoloft & I was wondering what the doctor thought of taking St. John's Wort for BPD. I was also wondering about the combination of taking 900 mg of lithium with St. John's Wort.

A. This doctor thinks St. John's Wort is a hoax and will not work. You can, however, get Zoloft for free if your doctor sends in a very simple form to Pfizer. All the pharmaceutical companies provide medications at no charge to people in need. Your doctor needs to fill out a simple form and mail it to them, and they send the meds to the doctor in three month increments for you to pick up.
