Q. I wrote several times and your replies have been a tremendous help to me and I will be sharing with my doctor. Because we are the end of our rope trying to find help for me. Is there any possible chances that some of my other meds are causing me to have problems, like shaking and crying, and having sever panic attacks. I'm also taking: accolate, Theo24, Maxair, Atrovent, Wellbutrin, Remeron, Risperdal, Buspar and Xanax. I Have BPD, Anxiety, Panic Attacks and several other ailments such as asthma, allergies this is why I included the asthma meds and asked why if they could be contributing to my problems. Any info so far has helped me and I copied it down for my doctor.

A. I do not know what the medication is that you are having your BPD treated with. None of the ones listed will work very well to the best of my knowledge. You may be having panic and shakes from the Wellbutrin and or alprazolam withdrawal (the latter from between dose fluctuations in alprazolam in your bloodstream). The theophylline products also tend to increase anxiety and tremors. I would suggest getting on one of the meds discussed in earlier letters at a therapeutic dosage, and hopefully this will control many of your symptoms.
