  Q. My fiancée has been diagnosed with Schizotypal Personality Disorder. He is deceptive, has a hard time with monogamy, manipulation, and aggression. He has been to therapy ordered by the court but all they have done is diagnosed him. He is back in jail and I am afraid of how things are going to be when he gets out. What I want to know is how many possible treatments there are or if he will grow out of it? He is almost 22 and we have a child together.

  A. Hard to tell how it will develop, but it usually does not get better nor do folks grow out of it. I am not aware of any treatments that are particularly helpful.
