Q. I really do not know If I am Borderline or I'm suffering of schizo-affective
disorder or I am suffering of Conversion Disorder. I hope you can make things
clear for me.
My symptoms are:
mood swings
I feel depressed most of the day
I feel irritable
I love to be around people but in the same time I hate to be with them
I feel stiffness, difficulty swallowing, difficulty walking
I have moments when I feel in a trance like state
I have moments when I loose touch with reality
I have moments when I see black shadows or coloures ones
I have moments when I hear voices
A. . I cannot tell what you have, but see no harm in going after the symptoms. I
would treat the symptoms as if they were depression/BPD related. If you are
schizoaffective, there are not a lot of options differing from treating
schizophrenia.
My guess is that you have depersonalization/derealization (lose touch with
reality), and brief psychotic episodes (hear voices). If you know the voices
are internally driven or know they are not real, it is more in the BPD
category. Talk to a good psychopharmacologist.
