Family Email Support Groups

  BPD Significant Others (This list was formed by BPD Today to ensure a healthy atmosphere where the discussion primarily involves the families themselves. This is where real recovery can take place).

Life on the Border "Borderline Personality Disorder AKA BPD.  Has your child been diagnosed with BPD or BPD traits? Then this list is for you.  The LifeOnTheBorder list is where you will be able to turn to network with other parents of  BPD children.   Support, advice, a place to let off steam, talk about your frustrations, worries and triumphs.  A place without judgment that respects different views and tolerance levels.  LifeOnTheBorder will help you learn about BPD, ways to cope, how to find help, what meds work what meds don't.  Therapy -  what works and what doesn't.   Rages and verbal abuse and how to cope with it.  All aspects of family life are impacted when a BPD child is in the home especially siblings.  Discussion how to keep your family safe and how important it is to take care of yourself. If you are looking for an extended family to help you through life with your BPD child then LifeOnTheBorder is what you are looking. List membership is restricted and we ask that all members provide a summary prior to being subscribed to the list.  We do this in order to protect list members privacy and to insure that the list is not compromised."

Borderline Tempest For Parents of BPD children or adult-children: This is a list for those who have BPD children or adult-children who want to discuss what they are dealing with and get support. It is a place where these parents can share their struggles and coping skills with each other and get support in the process. 

NUTS (Needing Understanding, Tenderness and Support) is an online support group for parents who have children of all ages, from 10 to 40, with Borderline Personality Disorder. We share many things, what our child is doing, what we are doing to deal with it, ideas for each other on alternate ways of handling things, and anything else that may help us through day to day life of dealing with the struggles of BPD.
